Over the last several years, Braze has continued to expand its footprint, deepening its investment in and commitment to the APAC market. Last September, we announced the debut of a new office in Jakarta, Indonesia. Today, we are excited to share that we will further invest in this important market with plans to open a new data center in Indonesia within the next 12 months. We unveiled the news earlier this week at Get Real with Braze Jakarta, an annual event that allows our customers and partners in the region to meet with the Braze Indonesia team in person, get updates on the Braze product roadmap, and unlock marketing and customer engagement insights from leading local brands.
With the future launch of this data center, we look forward to enabling even more brands in Indonesia to forge lasting connections with their customers. As data privacy regulation continues to evolve globally, many brands—particularly those in highly regulated industries—are required to utilize data centers locally that allow personal data from consumers to remain domiciled within their borders. Organizations in the region with local data requirements will be able to unlock the power of the Braze platform, enabling more brands to scale use cases with confidence that their needs will be supported as data regulations continue to evolve.
From Canva to Sephora SEA and Tiket.com, Braze empowers APAC companies to reduce churn, drive more revenue, extend customer lifetimes, and build trust with every interaction. Take a look at our APAC customer case studies to see why Braze is the go-to partner for customer engagement in the region.
