FREE TRIAL TERMS

By clicking a box indicating acceptance of these free trial terms (the “Free Trial Terms”), executing a contract with Braze that references these Free Trial Terms, or accessing or using any or all features of the Braze Services or any associated services (hereinafter, the “Free Trial Service(s)”) made available by Braze on a free trial basis, you agree to these Free Trial Terms.

You must be authorized to sign for and bind the legal entity on behalf of which you are entering into these Free Trial Terms (the “Customer”) and you represent and warrant that you have the authority to do so. You agree that these Free Trial Terms are enforceable like any written agreement signed by you.

If the Customer does not agree to these Free Trial Terms, the Customer, you, and any User may not use any Free Trial Service that is identified as being subject to these terms. The rights granted under these Free Trial Terms are expressly conditioned upon your acceptance of these Free Trial Terms.

1. Free Trial Period. The duration of a free trial (the “Free Trial Period”) runs from the moment Braze makes the Free Trial Services available to Customer on a trial basis, free of charge, until the earlier of: (a) the end of the free trial applicable to the relevant Free Trial Service, which shall be 30 days, unless otherwise specified by Braze or agreed upon between the parties; (b) the start date of any paid subscription to the Braze Services or of any paid services procured by Customer for such services trialed during the Free Trial Period; or (c) the termination of the free trial at any time in Braze’s sole discretion.

2. Subscription agreement. The terms of Braze’s Main Subscription Agreement available at www.braze.com/terms or the applicable subscription agreement already in place between Braze and Customer, if any, (either agreement, the “Agreement”) shall continue to govern and remain unaffected with regards to any Braze Services purchased by Customer, if any, and shall apply to any Free Trial Services subject to these Free Trial Terms. If Customer accepts these Free Trial Terms by executing an Order Form with Braze, then the terms of such Order Form shall also apply, and in the case of a conflict between the Order Form and these Free Trial Terms, the Order Form shall prevail over these Free Trial Terms, and the Agreement referred to in this section shall be the Agreement as defined on such Order Form. These Free Trial Terms incorporate the terms of the Agreement by reference. In the event of any conflict or inconsistency between these Free Trial Terms and the Agreement, these Free Trial Terms shall prevail. Any capitalized terms not defined here shall have the meaning ascribed to them in the Agreement.

During the Free Trial Period, the Free Trial Services are provided “as-is” without any warranty of any kind, are not subject to any service level agreements agreed upon between the parties, and Braze shall have no indemnification obligations or liability of any type with respect to the Free Trial Services, unless such exclusion of liability is not enforceable under applicable law, in which case Braze’s liability with respect to such Free Trial Service shall not exceed $1,000.00. Limitations of liability under the Agreement do not apply to Customer’s liability and indemnification obligations to Braze under the Agreement, with regards to (i) any damages caused to Braze arising out of Customer’s use of the Free Trial Services during the Free Trial Period, and (ii) any breach by Customer of these Free Trial Terms. Without limiting the foregoing and in addition to any disclaimer of warranty and representations in the Agreement, Braze and its Affiliates do not represent or warrant to Customer that (a) Customer’s use of the Free Trial Services during the Free Trial Period will meet Customer’s requirements, nor that (b) Customer’s use of the Free Trial Services during the Free Trial Period will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or free from error.

3. Usage Restrictions. Dashboard Users shall not try to access and/or use the Free Trial Services for competitive purposes. Braze may reject or suspend a Dashboard User's access to the Free Trial Services if Braze reasonably determines in its own discretion that such access is for competitive purposes.

4. Additional Terms. Additional terms and conditions applicable to the free trial of a specific Free Trial Service may apply, where indicated by Braze, whether appearing on an Order Form, within the Free Trial Service, within a free trial registration web page, or shared in any other way with you prior to granting you access to the Free Trial Service. Any such additional terms and conditions are incorporated into these Free Trial Terms by reference and are legally binding. If you do not agree to such additional terms and conditions, you must not access or use the Free Trial Service.

5. Documentation. Free Trial Services may not include all functionality and features accessible as part of a paid service. Please review the Documentation related to the Free Trial Service during the Free Trial Period so that you become familiar with the features and functions of the Free Trial Service before purchasing any subscription for the Braze Services, or purchasing any other services, trialed by Customer during the Free Trial Period.

6. Data Deletion. Any Customer Data submitted to or collected by Customer the Free Trial Service, and any configurations or customizations made in connection with such Free Trial Service, during the Free Trial Period will be permanently deleted upon the end of the Free Trial Period, unless otherwise indicated by Braze in writing for such Free Trial Service. Customer may export such Customer Data before the end of the Free Trial Period.
