This month, we’re recognizing Tasha Powe, Sr. Group Lifecycle Marketing Manager at Helium 10, a Pacvue Company. Helium 10 is an industry-leading SaaS platform that empowers e-commerce sellers, brands, and agencies to maximize sales and accelerate growth on Amazon, Walmart, and beyond. We spoke with Tasha about her marketing experience, how she leverages Braze as a small team, and her role at Helium 10. Let’s dive in.

Can you tell us about yourself and the job you’re in now?

​​I'm a passionate marketer! This passion has led to a career spanning nearly two decades in industries ranging from real estate to casino entertainment to tech. For me, the always-changing landscape has continued to provide both a challenge and ongoing professional development.

Over the years, my roles and interest naturally gravitated towards email marketing because it allows the exploration of marketing and technology. I spent the majority of my career managing email programs for a large casino entertainment company. This led to developing a keen interest in lifecycle marketing and a focus on building a relationship with customers. After several years, I accepted a great opportunity to contribute to Helium 10's lifecycle marketing efforts.

What is your favorite part of your job?

The freedom to continuously learn and explore optimization through innovation. I embrace the customer-centric focus and empower them to win in commerce. I love the cross-functional collaboration that helps provide critical POV to every business initiative.

How long have you been using Braze and at how many companies?

This is my first time using Braze, so almost two years. I love the no-code features, which helps me quickly launch complex programs with limited resources. Braze has afforded the ability to enhance our user experience and seamlessly integrate data sources for an omnichannel experience.

How do you see Braze as a career accelerant?

I was new to using Braze when joining Helium 10 in 2022, so I knew I had a steep learning curve but leaned heavily on my previous email marketing experience and jumped right in. The seamless cross-channel orchestration with Canvas allowed for quick expansion to various channels to truly provide the right message, right time, right channel experience. The continuous innovation and strategic support is refreshing and encourages advanced use cases.

What has your experience been like working with the Braze team and community so far?

My experience has been fabulous! Upon joining, I quickly immersed myself in Braze Learning and took full advantage of every resource to gain knowledge to become a super user. I really enjoy the monthly Small But Mighty workshops that showcase features and use cases. Working on a lean team, I definitely rely on the Braze team for strategic advice and technical support.
