Braze (formerly Appboy) Named a Leader in 2018 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Mobile Marketing Platforms

Team Braze

We’re proud to announce that Braze (formerly Appboy) was named a Leader in the first-ever Gartner Magic Quadrant for Mobile Marketing Platforms. We placed highest for our ability to execute out of the 15 vendors evaluated.

Mobile is just the beginning

We feel this report is a further testament to the importance of mobile in the fast-changing customer engagement landscape. This shift affects how consumers connect with the brands they love and how organizational teams deliver those brilliant experiences to their customers. We believe that mobile is more than just push notifications and in-app functionalities—it also includes email and cross-channel capabilities. As a result, today’s marketing technology solutions need to connect seamlessly within the digital ecosystem supporting each enterprise brand.

This future is device (and channel) agnostic, and we’re seeing that messaging drives business—and cross-channel engagement delivers more. When we analyzed 300 million user profiles last year, Braze found that communicating with customers through a single channel increases engagement rates by 179% compared to a control group that received no messages. However, that’s nothing compared to what engagement across channels can do. In fact, we found that users who received cross-channel messaging from brands saw engagement rates as much as 844% higher than individuals who were sent no messages. That’s not just a nice boost—that’s transformative.

Thank You
