At Braze (formerly Appboy), we’re focused on building the best customer engagement platform out there, supporting brilliant messaging experiences across devices, channels, and platforms. What does that mean for you? That we’re constantly innovating and improving our product so that you never miss out on an opportunity to connect with your customers.
Over the past few months, Braze has partnered with the Gmail team to test a new feature that will make it easier for brands to highlight key information about their email outreach.
This update to allows companies to include promotional cards within the Gmail Promotions Tab, supporting richer, more appealing promotional email experiences with the Gmail inbox. By leveraging these cards, marketers can add context and interactivity by showcasing branded logos, discount codes, expiration dates, images, and other key content
The feature is now live and publicly available. Note that currently, the feature is only available on the Gmail app. View documentation here.
At Braze, we’re all about working smarter, not harder—and one of our newest features, Content Blocks, enables you to do just that.
Content Blocks offers marketing, growth, and engagement teams a centralized location in which to store content, so instead of reinventing the wheel, you can seamlessly reuse content from your Content Blocks across all message types (think email, push notifications, in-app messages, and more) supported by Braze. Content Blocks also support Liquid templating, so you can easily insert personalization, conditional statements, or even Connected Content, supporting more relevant, valuable, content experiences for your customers. What’s more, when you update a Content Block, all of the messages that Content Block is referenced in will dynamically update as well.
Consistency is one of the keys to delivering brilliant experiences. You can now ensure you’re providing consistent, visual brand experiences through the ability to customize in-browser messages with reusable CSS. Customize everything from fonts to kerning, and make your web messaging shine.
