Braze Named to Crain’s Best Places to Work in NYC List for the Second Year in a Row

At Braze, we recognize that our strongest, most valuable feature is our people. It’s our people that build our products, sell them, service them, and help us run a successful business. Without the dedication of our employees, we would never have been able to achieve the level of success we’ve seen in recent years. The importance of people has never been more apparent than in the midst of a worldwide pandemic. That’s why we’re honored and humbled to be named to Crain’s 2020 Best Places to Work in New York City for the second year in a row, coming in at #9 this year.

The Best Places to Work in New York City award program, now in its 13th year, is dedicated to identifying and recognizing the city’s best employers. Employees across all five boroughs participate in the evaluation, with respondents assessing work environment, leadership, benefits, and company culture. The process is managed by independent research firm Best Companies Group, which distributes the surveys, analyzes the data, and determines the final rankings.

At Braze, we want all of our employees to feel encouraged and motivated. Though we’ve had to pivot our efforts in light of stay at home orders and new health and safety precautions, our focus to supporting our employees has not changed. Since the start of quarantine, our team has proved we’re quick to respond to new opportunities—and gladly took on new challenges associated with the rise of COVID-19. We’ve also been fortunate enough to continue hiring throughout this process, and have onboarded more than 150+ new employees since March.

This isn’t the first time our dedication to prioritizing a strong workplace culture has been recognized—in fact, earlier this year Braze was also named to Inc. Magazine’s 2020 Best Workplaces. None of this would be possible without the dedication of our employees, who collectively shape our workplace culture by living our values of curiosity, inclusivity, and embracing our shared humanity.
