Today’s highly-connected technology is increasingly built on cloud computing platforms, making it possible for brands big and small to carry out their digital operations effectively at a global scale. And over the last 13 years, one of the leading cloud platforms—Amazon Web Services (AWS)—has built itself into an essential solution supporting more than 90 distinct services for over a million different companies and organizations, impacting nearly every aspect of our day-to-day lives.
Because so much of the internet depends on AWS, the company’s Competency Program has become a trusted marker of quality for best-in-class technology solutions. Accordingly, Braze is proud to announce that our company has been named an AWS Digital Customer Experience (DCX) Competency Partner. Braze was recognized in the program’s new Marketing Automation division in connection with the Braze customer engagement platform’s ability to help brands build relationships with their audiences through relevant marketing and brand experiences across channels and platforms. Braze is joined by Braze Alloys partners Segment and Amplitude.
“Braze is honored to be selected as an APN launch partner of the AWS Digital Customer Experience Competency,” said Braze CTO and Cofounder Jon Hyman. “We take pride in providing world class technology built for the ever-changing demands of today’s modern customer. Our team is dedicated to helping companies around the globe achieve their customer engagement goals by leveraging the agility, scale, and pace of innovation that Braze and AWS provide.”
Given its central role in supporting the modern internet, AWS can and does work with a wide array of companies and technologies to support a range of technical and business needs. But not all of those technical partners are created equally. The AWS DCX Competency Partner Program was created to recognize AWS partners who both support elements of digital customer acquisition, engagement, and/or retention, and successfully showcase technical proficiency and validate success for their customers in connection with their partnership with AWS.
In order to ensure that the partners chosen for the DCX Competency Partner program are capable of effectively supporting their customers’ needs, AWS requires all prospect participants to undergo a series of evaluations, including:
These assessments ensure that the architecture, deployment, reliability, security, infrastructure scaling mechanisms, and operational processes associated with a given technology are sufficient to work effectively with AWS and support customer needs. To receive the designation, potential partners must possess deep AWS expertise and deliver solutions seamlessly on AWS.
