Appboy is proud to share that we’ve developed an SDK for Unity, making us the first to bring mobile relationship management (MRM) support to the international game development platform.
The news is a boon for the gaming industry, which will grow to 191M gamers by 2017 and currently accounts for 72% of app store revenue in mobile. Most of this revenue is driven by in-app purchases, which Appboy facilitates by helping developers understand how their audience is interacting with their app and targeting high-value prospects with personalized in-app messaging.
Gaming developer clients can now take advantage of features such as user segmentation and targeted multi-channel messaging, which help re-engage lost users, increase awareness and drive in-app purchases. The platform also provides detailed usage data and programmatic feedback, which enables developers to understand how their audience is interacting with the app in terms of game time, engagement and spending.
