Appboy Launches Partnership with Bauer Publishing, Expands Into European Markets

We are thrilled to share that international magazine company Bauer Media Group is the latest addition to Appboy’s roster of clients in the publishing sphere, which includes MagPlus and the nearly 2,000 publications they count as clients, such as Shape and PopSci. Starting February 1st, 45 of Bauer’s apps will be equipped with the full suite of Appboy marketing automation services to secure and grow their readership faster than ever. As publishers navigate the competitive landscape of branded content apps, Bauer’s use of Appboy will give them a crucial leg-up in providing their users with a truly personalized experience.

The partnership will enable Bauer Media apps to:

  • Provide consumers with a consistent, relevant content stream.
  • Increase the rate of mobile subscriptions and issue downloads through targeted, relevant multi-channel messaging, push notifications and email.
  • Encourage article-based consumption and engagement through the Appboy News Feed, with which publishers can share customized content.
