CCPA 2022 Amendment to your existing DPA

In light of the California Consumer Privacy Act 2018 being amended by the California Privacy Rights Act 2020 (“CCPA”), which legislation comes into effect on 1 January 2023, we provide our customers with the option to execute a CCPA 2022 Amendment that includes relevant contractual terms, to aid our customers in their compliance with data privacy laws in their use of the Braze Services.

  • If you do not yet have a Data Processing Addendum (“DPA”) with Braze, you will find our DPA with updated CCPA terms, signed by Braze and ready for your countersignature here.
  • If you already have a signed DPA with Braze, you will find below the CCPA 2022 Amendment that you can sign to amend your existing DPA to add terms specific to the CCPA, signed by Braze and ready for your countersignature.

Please complete on the document in block capital letters your company’s full legal name and signatory details, and sign and return it by email to [email protected]. Upon receipt of the validly completed CCPA 2022 Amendment by Braze at this email address, the CCPA 2022 Amendment will become legally binding.
